Even if it came to be because your friend is having a bad time, I really adore this picture. The expressions are lovely, so full of emotion. The overall mood of the picture is so sweet and full of emotion.

This is so sweet, and I am sure she'll appreciate it - That is so thoughtful of you A. and who could not love you for it.

The drawing itself is a delight - I love your clean outlining, and the simple colouring, actually gives it some of that raw honesty this drawing is suppose to portray - no need to fancy shadowing or highlights - this is perfect as it is.

Thank you SO much. I considered making the halo brighter and putting in some minimal shadows/highlights, but when I got this far I decided I liked it as is. I'm glad the emotion still comes across, as that is the most important thing.
