Description
Three weeks to do this one, from rough sketch, to inking, to digital scanning, to Photoshop finalized touch ups. This is by far the best I feel I've ever drawn the Disney royals, from poses to digital coloring. I tried to get as close as possible to the wardrobe worn by the princesses in their scenes from the Ralph Breaks the Internet trailer. I included Sofia and Elena because they are directly tied to the mythos, I don't care if they originated on TV or not. In the cases of Sofia and Elena, I drew Sofia in her nightgown she wore in her show. For Elena, I created a specialized shirt for her that says "Ready 2 Rule," (recommended by a Twitter follower). I hope you guys like this one, it's probably the biggest crossover piece I've done on here so far.Related content

Thanks! And yes, the background is manipulated/edited as well. I was aiming for a Contemporary Resort-sort of vibe with the backdrop on this one. There's still a lot on Photoshop I'm still learning how to utilize but I had fun with the tools I learned to this point.

I'll preface by saying Alice is one of my favorite Disney characters overall and I like to draw her (I definitely need to start posting more works featuring her as well). As a Kingdom Hearts gamer and fan, I know she is a Princess of Heart. But I never thought Alice would have fit into this particular piece (same goes for Kairi).Β

Thanks so much ππ» I wanted to include both Elena and Sofia to this piece because they are closely tied to the Disney Princess franchise and honestly, they add needed flair to the group. Having visited Disneyland this past week, I also saw up close just how popular Elena is. Her merchandise and ornaments are sold alongside those of Frozen, Little Mermaid, and Cinderella and there were just as many young girls dressed as Elena as there were for the other princesses. I think sheβs a welcome addition.
