The third of my Disney autograph sketches. In today's animation landscape, Donald stands alone as THE most famous animated duck among today's kids and remains an iconic duck to the adults. With Looney Tunes having been dead for some time now, Donald has no competition. Just as iconic as his pal Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck has been a longtime part of the Disney animated family and is probably the most human and relatable character of the bunch. How many times have we lost our temper when things don't go our way? His temper and short fuse are trademarks of his character and humor. Thanks to shows like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, the new Mickey shorts, Mickey and the Roadster Racers, and a much more involved role on the Ducktales reboot, generations will continue to enjoy Donald for a long time.

Reflection:

Whenever I visit Disneyland, Donald is always a fun character interaction. Always seems to be looking for attention in a place dominated by the presence of Mickey. Whereas Mickey handles himself with poise and calm in the parks, Donald tends to be more animated and enthusiastic with the visitors. This was no exception when he signed my drawing....even put #1 right next to his name as you can see.
