I as well, the begging was a little slow but once past that it was amazing. Thats the fist times I've read a book from an aliens perspective and I quite liked it.

Actually, I quite like this one better. I like the angle better, the fact that it's cropped in a bit more and also the focus (or how part is more out of focus than the other one). I think this one is way better artistically.

i prefer the focus and angle on this one, the depth of field is a better effect for the glitter.
but i'm not sure how i feel about the reflections in your eye, they're kinda distracting in both of the pictures... maybe if you could blur it so the detail of the lamp isn't distracting?
also, i think i'd like to see this with a bit more negative space, like the other one.

I had no idea what I photographing because I was holding the camera in front of my eye so I couldnt really do anything about where the my eye was in retrospect of the frame. But yeah, the reflection really bugs me, thanks for the tip. I'll try it out
