'Looking to the door, the woman was frozen in place. In all her years, both living and dead, had she never let anything make her cease movement. However this did. The light was warm and inviting. It was surely too good to be true! Not taking a step closer, she reached out towards the brightness that came from the open door. However she retracted her hand quickly. Was it really...? Was this how others...?

It was then she felt something on her face.
They were wet, and they were coming from her eyes...tears. As she touched her eyes and drew her hands back to look, her eyes widened when she saw how much they were shaking. She wish she didn't know why, as even now she was ashamed to admit...she was afraid. Her bottom lip quivered as she looked back up at the light.

Was this real? No. This had to be some sick trick being played on her! It was then she heard a faint voice, one that she'd recognise from anywhere...the voice she'd longed to hear again for a very long time.

"Come on, Alyssia...it's time to go..." Her father said gently.

"But I'm scared..." Those were words that she was shocked to hear from her own mouth.

"It'll be okay...I'm here, my dear..."

Finally she walked forward, reaching the doorway. Slowly, she looked over her shoulder at the world she was leaving behind. She wasn't sure if she'd come back as the same person or reincarnated-if she came back at all. Then with one more smile, she stepped into the light, letting it engluf her as the door shut.

The world would have to carry on without her.'

Okay so I've had this picture for a while, and wasn't sure what to do with it. However I was listening to the song 'As You Go' by Red and I ended up doing this with the picture. It's a beautiful song and you should really check it out!

However unfortunately this wouldn't be the reality for Alyssia as, having murdered hundreds of people and innocent children, she would be damned to Hell, or simply would not exist anymore if she were to be killed.

Alyssia and art belong to moi ^^ Though I may re-draw this. But for now I'm content with it!
