Oil on Canvas.One of my favorite pieces cause I made her up from another 2 drawings I had and myself as a shadow model. Sadly enough I had to sell it cause I need it the money, I felt so sad when I let it go but happy that I had a great scan of it (curtesy of the big ass scanner I had at work).
I love blue can you tell?
this use to go with a frase that read:
The night was long and the soul dressed up of Melancoly.

Yes I had to do it, I felt so horrible after, but Students are most of the time broke so...

Beautiful! I know how hard it is to work in oils and this is absolutely gorgeously done. The colors are so rich and I just love what the monochrome does for the mood. Rendering of the face is really delicate and i like the contrast between that style and how you did the background. Very nice.

Thanks, Yes I did get into blue for a while, did anotherone jst a few days ago am getting it frame for a show. Its hard to frame blue.

Thanks, amd updating ym page so I have not much of my non illustration art work. AM trying to get picts and scans of my work, It just so time consuming!.

I love this painting. The Blue hue just epitomises the sadness of the piece. Beautiful but haunting.
