Description
It is so hard to photograph one year olds. Last year, I spent a day at the Botanic Gardens of Denver trying to get a few good pics of Raylynn. I found out that in order to get a photograph of someone who runs around like a hyper squirrel, you gotta predict where they are going to be next.

At one point, Raylynn struck up a game of peek-a-boo with me where she kept switching spots with me on a koi pond platform. We'd look through the slats of the railing at each other, laugh, then immediately swap places. After doing this a few times, I realized I could catch her by surprise with my camera.

It was one of my favorite photos of Raylynn and I told myself that one day I'd draw it. Although... it did take me a year to get around to it.
