This is some gift art for She was asking for a new avatar concerning her very cool/weird OC called The Raptor Wolfy. Her version is seen here: [link] There's no getting around it, even *TheRaptor-Wolfy admits, she looks like a giant rat creature!
I'm not sure if she'll use my version of The Raptor Wolfy, but it was a fun project and I liked the challenge. The raptor wolf combo is definitely a new one to me!

Are you any good with animation? I don't want anything huge, I just can't seem to get my Corel Painter IX to do it.

That would be easy! Which one did you like better? The blueish purple one or the lime green one?

Pretty simple. I used Photoshop's animation and faded in between the three images using the opacity keys in the timeline. Then I exported a .gif.

I didn't realize that Photoshop had an animation part to it. I'll have to check out the program more thoroughly next time I'm on.

Yeah, it's pretty handy. Just really basic, but that's all you'd ever need with Photoshop.

My "Stupid stupid rat creatures!" line was a reference to a line in a comic series called Bone. Very funny series, I'd recommend it!

Oh boy, that's a hard one to choose!!! I like each, I liked in the first one [and this piece] that you used the background from my first avatar [almost, the colors anyhow!
This makes me want to draw my character again.

Interesting concept. The color is enhancing as well. I would have liked the tail more furry though

I was actually thinking about having some long fur on the tail but then it took too much away from the raptor look so I left it more sleek. Besides, her concept followed more of this work. Glad you like the coloring! I thought that the subtle stripes would give it a more raptor look as well.
