d00d, just ignore that guy. Yeah ... vector art has always been ... kinda wierd for me. Because in a way, it IS just tracing. But ... theres no denying the quality in your stuff. It doesnt look like a photo. A photo just looks boring.
The same could be said for people who copy stuff - you know, drawings. Like Pheonrius or whatever. I mean ... all the hardwork is done, the information is there, youre just copying it. But, whatever you want to call anything, a picture either works for you, or it doesnt
I mean i KNOW how you do this stuff. But i still find it great to look at, cos ... you add something that simply isnt in photos.
This doesnt just look like a photo, and theyre arent any buttons in photoshop that automatically do this.
I mean ... the same could be said for plain up photography. All youre doing is buying the expensive equipment and ... getting the lighting right and taking the pic. It aint frikkin rocket science. But theres still the line between good photography and bad photography. Ive seen plenty of vector artists on here, and your stuff stands out above the rest. If what you do was "so" easy to do, we'd find loads more people doing it, and you wouldnt stand out over the crowd like you do. copying from photos .... whatever maen, i know i couldnt make photos look as cool as you do, so in my books, thats great

I agree with you that the perhaps posting here is a moron-- but if you think that photography is setting up a light and clicking a button, I think perhaps you haven't had a lot of experience in photography, or you've been looking at the wrong artists. It's great you're defending his work, because the comment before was out of line, but I don't think the way to go about it is to do it at the expense of other communities.
Ditz-- The guy saying this stuff is just a troll, anyway, here to cause problems. I think it goes without saying to pay them no mind.

yeah yeah, i know. I was kinda exxaggurating to make a point. I love photography, i have all respect for it. Theres a clear line between good photography and bad anyway, so even though the actual act itself of clicking the button might not be hard, some people are better at it, clearly. But ... i guess i was trying to keep things in perspective. Making the point that anything can be narrowed down. Football is just kicking a ball, maths is just bunging some numbers together, art is just scratching a few lines, being a pilot is wiggling a joystick and pressing a few buttons. But yes

please do not say u wish to call this an art piece or a design. it is nothing but pure and absolute trash. if indeed u took 2 hours to do this, congratulations, you've just prove to the whole damn world how sucky you are.
this is nothing more than a downloaded porn pic "rendered" with pre-programmed photoshop filters and probably just a little colour adjustment. Incomplete? what is Imcomplete? the only thing this piece succeeded in demostrating is the incompetence of both skill and intellect, even the composition is cliched as hell. ZERO DEPTH.

Incomplete? what Imcomplete? it is extremely and outstanding imperfect(shitty) if that's what you're trying to reflect, but there is really no true meaning of anything here. even the composition is cliched as hell. you might as well put the whole goddamn original picture in and call it "found art".
