Description ~single spontaneous shot
~Canon EOS 400D + Ef-S 17-85 IS USM

-location: by Linderhof Castle, Germany

I did not recognized, that my cam was still on, so I played with the trigger while holding it down and after I heard the "clackclackclack" I realised, I made a (in my opinion) interesting shot, without wanting it

I'm not sure about the way, how it came out in BW, will try to make a cross processed version, maybe it could pull up more the child

The first thing I have to say about this photograph is the first thing that catches my eye about it.

I LOVE THE PERSPECTIVE!

Taking a photo of a child from the perspective of a child makes for instant visual interest and is a technique I enjoy seeing and use quite a bit myself.

In addition, the crowded composition adds to that child-like perspective. "Removing" the heads of the adults was also a great choice as it removes any visual distractions and focuses all of the viewers attention on the child.

My only real critique is this: Don't tell anyone what the child is looking at! You remove a significant portion of the interest when you do that. e.deviantart.com/emoticons/w/w… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Wink)" />

don't worry, I can't tell that to anybody, because I don't know it

thank you very much for the critique!

For an accidental, blind shot, this is pretty much perfect. We should all be so lucky to get something this good without even trying!

The position of the little girl surrounded by adults fits perfectly with the title "helpless". You can almost remember what it was was like to be that size, so little in a land of giants. The foreground adds to the overall composition, like you found a small chink in the human wall surrounding the helpless one.

I love this photograph as it is and think it would be a shame to change it in any way. The only reason for losing those little star points... because you didn't have to work hard to get a great shot and I'm jealous! e.deviantart.com/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)" />

Too perfect to be an 'accidental' shot Denis

This is just great and the mono works brilliantly
