You seem to be youthful, at least not the bad youthful kind. Oh! You're a year older than me.

I don't have a licence, so Id it is. I'd pull it out of my Eevee wallet or Gravity Falls one.

I love Eevee so much! Vapourean was my fave eeveelution back in 1999, when I played blue version and watched PokΓ©mon.

Eevvee is a cutie. I didn't own any PokΓ©mon games until I was twelve (Sapphire) my name older brother got all the games. I was a card player too, though haven't done that since I was eleven.

I really enjoy your style. It is very unique, and tbh I appreciate your creative style far more than most of the "I'm am realistic queen pencil pro". Don't get me wrong, those artists are amazing, and their techniques are awesome (I can't not even have a decent handwriting, let along draw), but I value style and uniqueness most. I usually "hunt down" the artists I like so I can send them a word of appreciation and of course.Β
Honestly I have you on my top three favorite Bioware fanartists (the other two being nranola -when she uses this style (link: nranola.deviantart.com/art/DA-⦠) and HyperBali -she normally keeps up with this style (link: hyperbali.deviantart.com/art/H⦠), just in case you haven't stumbled on their art yet).
As I said, I am no artist myself, so I do lack all the proper terms. But I guess that shouldn't stop me from taking some time to write an appreciation for the nice work out there. Sometimes a nice art just makes my day, the least I can do is try to return the favour. Β
Anyways, sorry for the long rant! Keep up with your nice art!Β

well I completely appreciate it! I still feel that I'm trying to find my style actuallyΒ Β and I do love those realistic drawings as well (which I still try to do XD without too much success sometimes). I'm glad that you find my drawings with some uniqueness, that sometimes I feel I drew too simplistic XD
I feel honoured that I am inΒ the top three!! I have seen those artists before and totally faved their art as well.Β
I love that art can be expressed in any way or form either by drawing or by words! I am completely flattered and slightly embarrassed that you like my art this much to write to me about my silly cartoons. Thank you so much and you have totally made my day!!!Β Β

I can't draw like, at all, lol! My husband loves drawing, but he aims at the most John Romita Jr. style, which is cool, but not my very fave. But I totally agree, art can have many forms and ways. Another artist (which you probably know, but still) that has a wonderful style is CuriousCanvas (I absolute love this Garrus:  curiouscanvas.deviantart.com/a⦠). I mean, so many possibilities... Gotta love art. <3
I find your drawing really unique, maybe you see them as simple because they come easy (?) for you, but they are absolutely not. They have rich detailing (like that amazing ogre in the Carver cartoon), and they are very expressive. Not to mention they are very creative, I bursted a genuinesad laught at that one "what do you?" "I suffer", lol.Β
Anyways, keep your awesome work. And thanks for being so sweet and answering me back. I am feeling spoiled.

It's not just practice, drawing involves a creative mind, you need a very holistic sense of "where this is going". Not for me, at least in this lifetime, lol!Β
Dark humor is the best! My husband says I suffer from "purple Hawke syndrome", so perhaps that explain why I like your cartoons so much *high fives* You have nothing to feel about bad, a witty personality is great.
PS - Sorry about my Meredith rant on your new art. I really like her and Cullen, so I sometimes get frustrated at how people love one but hate the other. Even if Bioware forced it up for people to adore Cullen, if you reason for a second, they're much alike. Well, I won't rant here, sorry, lol!Β

DivaXenia In reply to AliceWithCheese [2017-01-26 02:49:36 +0000 UTC]
lol that practise comes with patience XD I have to script out exactly what I want to draw. I make a very rough sketch of what I want in my strip and I usually make my brother check it out before I marker it in.
Go Dark Humour!!! Β XD I love Hawke's humour XDΒ
LOL don't feel bad!! I responded XD I like both Meredith and Cullen XD

I cannot even do stick figures, lol! The talent they assorted me with when I was born was cooking, which sound hella cool but makes me fat and judgemental of takeout food rather than allowing me to express my mind, lol.
Purple Hawke should constitute a life style. Dark humored sisters, unite! <3

well I work as a kitchen designer and install coordinator as my main job. It is quite stressful at times. So many clients have not realistic expectations on how construction works and they like to yell at me most times XD Plus when things go a muck, I'm one of the first people to blame XD
But I do enjoy my job... most days XD Somedays I suffer XD

Ouch... I get that... My dad put an addition onto the house and it took years (as in nearly my entire life and it never got done, house burnt down). NOTHING went as planned...
When people do not have experience with something they do not - or rather cannot- imagine all the little ways things can go wrong. They have this smooth picture of a process getting done and... Oi vey....
Its not fair that you get yelled at for shit that really isn't your fault... Even still, coming up with the designs must be pretty cool
