Hey there darlin' ... Been working my little beeeeehind off! ... Got a new contract with Play.com so that's cool, they've offered me a years worth of work ... yay!! ... Also attempting to get an event off the ground. I've just started the ball rolling on organising Cambridge's first digtal design exhibition... trying to get about 4 big marquis each with different themed design in them on the green in the centre of town... having a couple of bands, lots of multi-cultural BBQ food... and in the centre... loads of beanbags, and hopefully (fingers crossed) a few wacom cintiq tablets (the ones with the LCD screen you can draw directly on) for people to play around with, also have a little stage for people to give seminars and for companies to showcase their work, but dont wnat it to be too corporate, want to keep it all about the individuals. This should help people get more savvy about design and also let people forge new business relationships ... should be a cool event, a lot of work tho ... how bout you? been ok? x

Yay! Congrats on the new contract thats sweet. Wow...I am very impressed, I am sure you will get this exhibition rolling, to bad I'm not closer to where you are at. I would have loved to go to it. I hope that everything comes through for you, that would be damn sweet! I'm crossing my fingers!
I'm doing pretty good, just work work as usual but they are starting to give me designing work which is great. So I am not just sitting around answering phones and making spreadsheets, lol. They are having me design a t-shirt for their company baseball team and also a small card for their safety team. So yay!

Hehe thanks a lot ... might try and spin that ... things like this have been done a million times before, was just the first time i've actually done anything spherical and shiny before... unusual as most designers generally start off with shiny glowy buttons lol... cheers! J.

I've been more into the engravement idea. i have yet to learn how to make 3-d objects on the computer with what programs I'm using (Macromedia Fireworks and Adobe Photoshop)

What sort of thing are you wanting to make? Anything I can help with ? ... there's also a lot of tutorials on the net I can point you too if u need them.

Just random things. I've already got my thing for my Info Tech class done xP though, looking into the tips would be nice. I'm trying to get a book on HTML code, but I don't know if it even arrived at the library yet >.<
