Now let me clarify this. I support trans men/boys and trans women/girls and they are valid and still human.

What really gets me is according to some people (mainly on TWITter), if you wear clothing of the opposite gender, then that must mean you're trans. I'm sorry, but just because you see some guy wearing women's clothing doesn't mean they're automatically identified as a woman. One of my close-friends, who is a tomgirl/femboy, had this issue a few months ago from Tumblr when some people call him trans girl or "trans girl awakening" just because he's wearing an overall skirt and stockings. I know some were joking, but that was not cool nor funny as it could offend actual trans girls out there.

I remember 4 or 5 years ago, there was a controversy from Twitter about an old Animal Crossing flipnote where a male Villager crossdress and many people took a huge turn over it. I think they forget that old school cartoons shows male characters dress like women as a funny gag. I understand why they don't do that anymore, but still, wearing clothing of the opposite gender doesn't mean you're instantly trans or imitating trans people.

This applies to women who wear men's clothing as well, even though pants and suits are already unisex while dresses and skirts are still not see as a "norm" for men. I believe clothing has no gender and people should wear whatever they want if it makes them happy and comfortable. Sure, there are some cases where tomboys and tomgirls/femboys do want to transition due to gender dysphoria, but in most cases, they're cool with being cis and just love to wear clothing of the opposite gender. Simple as that.

I will say this again, I support trans people and their rights. Transgender is a person whose gender identity is different from the sex they were assigned at birth, not about clothing. So please stop mistaking crossdressing with transitioning.
