One of four WWE posters I made to drag to WWE live events, this one's the infamous one. It alone got a few seconds of dedicated airtime during the Halloween '02 Smackdown!It was really cool, because people from all over the world were commenting where I'd posted it in my livejournal and on my webpage, telling me they'd seen it. That was in addition to my friends all over the world who tuned in just to look
Later on my online friends got a bit hassled over it, one even got accused of lying about knowing the artist... the accuser insisting I was a WWE plant! If only I *had* been paid to sit there with it. But that's okay, second row seats by the ramp were payment enough. I just wish Edge had seen it, but alas, no go.

Your picture brings back so many memories I had of Edge. And it's so hard to explain... It kinda reminds me of how Edge looked in 2005.

Well, it's from late 2002 so 2005 is much closer to that than The Rated R Superstar and beyond

I stopped watching... it has to be something like 2 years ago, at least. I had friends that told me what was going on for a while but I don't think any of them still watch regularly. I just couldn't get into Edge's heel turn - it didn't make use of anything that had been so great about him before - and my other favs weren't getting a lot of air time. To tell you the truth, I think the last show I saw was the one before they rearranged lineups again. I never did find out where they ended up before they started leaving WWE.
Haven't heard anything about it that would make me want to try again, either, so ah well... it was a great thing when I was into it. And Edge still has the potential to be one very hot man

Well now he's been WWE champion a couple times and he's with Lita >.< he's annoying now. You're not really missing much I guess, I'm just too hopelessly addicted to wrestling lol. Maybe once Undertaker leaves for good I might stop watching =/ Though people have been expecting that for years and it hasn't happened. But yeah Edge was finally champion this year

I'd heard that, especially about Edge and Lita. At first I was like ...buh? But yanno, both The Hardy Boyz' a Lita's books made Matt and Lita's relationship sound really odd. And Lita's book talked about talking a lot with Edge since they'd both had the neck surgery. Sooo I guess I can see where that happened, but omg does it make them seem really dirty and cheap. Bah.

I'm having trouble remembering the context anymore... it's been years since I even watched wrestling (though Edge is still on my list of hotties). They were just very blase' about the whole thing. Like the sex was more of a convenience than an attachment thing. Matt was almost derogatory and Lita wrote about how he couldn't make time to see her when she was recovering from her neck injury - which is ultimately what did their "relationship" in, I suppose. Didn't sound like a relationship I'd want, though.

Really~!? That's weird, the way Matt whinges about it now (he's still baaawing about Lita five years after HE dumped HER...because he found some romantic text messages from Edge on Lita's cell phone and kicked her out of the house, but she felt really conflicted and still wanted to mend their relationship), he says stuff about what a dedicated boyfriend he was ESPECIALLY during Lita's neck injury and how the only day off he ever took was to be with her in the hospital or something, and she didn't do the same thing when he got injured ('cuz she was with Edge or something)...IDK, it's all a big "he-said/she-said" mess and Matt's such a fat YouTube attention-whore now that nobody has any sympathy for him.
(I personally thought Lita was trading up by hooking up with Edge

Oooo! Oooo! I remember seeing that poster! I think it even got some airtime as part of Smackdown's opening theme bit! Yeah! I think that's where I saw it...I just remember that when they showed it, it had the theme music to it...Coolies!

Iv'e been watching WWE/WWF since late 1998 now and I've been a fan ever since.
I can remember when Edge was in the Brood back in those days, with Gangrel and Christian, now he's only just returned from an injury.
Brilliatn poster, I might have seen it! It looks just like the Edge-meister himself, his hair is totally drool worthy!

hehe, there's a handful of wrestling art in my gallery, though it's mostly toward the very beginning (all of it except a fangirl pic I drew for my friend). I might have to be inspired to draw more, though, now that my boy is back ^___^

You know, a handful of people have said that. That really rocks. And you know what rocks most? That some people still remember it o_O It was on tv for a few seconds of the Halloween '02 show (the trip was my birthday present)... it is absolutely awesome that it was apparently that memorable
