Yes Gilles is very admirative of your work, and will end up being envious if you keep achieving more and more cool results like that Dixie.
Seriously I really like how your zoobka (or should I say dixieka? as it is so characteristic of your style) looks classic and modern, futurist at the same time, with that design that resembles a traditional decoration pattern, and those textures and electric colors reminding of neon. I also like how the big six-pointed star pattern structures all the composition, while the six green "flowers" revolving around the center exhibit also a six-pointed star pattern. These symmetries and echoes give a feeling of order and harmony, both mesmerizing and appeasing, rarely seen in "classic" zoobkas. So let's hear another round of , very well-deserved.

Thank you for your continuing generous praise, Gilles, especially by adding it to your favorites folder, too! Just remember - you started it!

I'm glad you don't mind my experimentation, Gilles. Once I dive into a new Zoobka creation, I usually make one mistake, but then start saying to myself, "Oooo, that's kinda cool." And, that's it for me - down the rabbit hole I go. One of my plans for this upcoming week is to take one of the original sketches you so generously provided when we started this trek & see if I can remember how to create a classic design.

Thank you so much for sharing such a fun technique & for your continuing support, Gilles. I've become richer from the experience.

You are more than welcome Dixie. I'm really pleased that you have been able to benefit so much from my Zoobka method. It was my wish to be this useful when I shared it and made available to everyone the material needed to make zoobkas.

When you talk about a rabbit hole, I think of Alice's rabbit, and the hole that led her to Wonderland. In the same way, I hope that your next explorations will be a new opportunity for wonderful discoveries and amusements in Zoobka Land.

Rest assured, Dixie, that it is always a pleasure for me to be of any help to you, to make you richer as you say, even if it may not be yet, and although I hope so, in terms of money... However, it is true that the pecuniary benefit is often not worth the artistic or moral benefit. So I am already fulfilled, personally.

Yes, Gilles, Alice left a trail of crumbs for me to follow and showed me where to find the hole. Now I know where & when to dive in.

Sounds like a good start for an amazing story, which I wish you to live.

Since that rabbit hole seemed like an idiomatic turn of phrase, I just checked the wiktionary. What a funny surprise, it turns out that the expression indeed exists in reference to Alice in Wonderland, and is said about such a bizarre world, or something that brings you there. I wasn't aware of any such meaning.

And the wiktionary to quote: These mushrooms will take you down the rabbit hole, man.
So it has everything to apply to Zoobka indeed.
