I had so much fun at MCM! there was so much to do, slowly going through everything I missed while I was away and resizing pictures~ anyway here's an odd pairing Gumi and Kaito, 2 of my favourite vocaloids.Series: Vocaloid (Music software)

I don't see why you don't ^^ I think you'd suit a wide range of characters, there are loads of armour tutorials and sword making tutorials and wig styling tutorials online, and if you can't sew there's always commissioning or learning as you go

I've done a lot of LARP costume and weapon making, but cos play looks to be good fun. I will have to try it one day. how did you first get into it?

When I was around 14-15 I found out about conventions from my friends sister and the cosplay scene was -tiny- back then (8 years ago), but she brought loads of photo's back and everyone looked like they where having a blast, so I decided to dress up as Yuffie and convince my friends to go with me, my Yuffie was horrendously bad, and I had managed to convince 2 friends to join me (who where into anime and games at the time) but none of us could get permission to go until we where 18. So I binned my Yuffie and we decided to wait, one friend moved away and the other couldn't manage to get enough money together at 18. So I finally went with a few gamer friends about 2 years ago and it was a bit crazy as the scene was huge compared to when I first saw pictures of it, and the costumes seem to have improved.
So I've known about cosplay for years, but only just recently started tidy (small costumes, as i'm pretty rubbish at sewing so far) I hope to build armour soon, but not until I move out as I don't want to clutter my room. It shouldn't be too long I have my deposit ready and a permanent full time job, just waiting for my mothers husband to move back in (she's lonely and has asked me to stay, he's away working for a year)
That was longer than intended, woops! but now I seem to have gotten my close friends into it as they've asked to come with me for MCM

Cool, well I was a D&D dungeon master since I was a kid, I ran our school lunch time club in our science lab. Our science teacher used be a D&D player when he was young and would chat to us and he told us stories about when he and his friends went to LARP. It sounded like a lot of fun but couldn't get into it as it seemed way too expensive.
So some time after I finished school and art-college, I would play warhammer 40k and one of my opponents made props, weapons and costumes for larping as a small business. He ran weekend events for locals, so I went to a couple of those. Then he said hey its The Gathering (UK's biggest event) in a couple of weeks wanna go? so I jumped in at the deep end and I guess I been going on irregular occasions ever since.

Why thank you very much, although I got the wig off ebay, the seller seems to have cancelled their account =/ (I trimmed the wig down and styled it though, so it may be best to buy a longer wig and cut it)
