Clamperl Cove - Trail 3 Clawdaunt Cliffs

Interestingly enough, gouache tutorials on Youtube helped me with this piece, bless you J.Gurney. Underpaintings! Apparently they work digitally too.

Gouache still flabberghasts me a little, but learning and growing is how we do.

Also I guess Midas is left handed or ambidextrous now because this is the first time I've drawn him holding a pen - and he always seems to hold his notebook in his right hand. He turned his betrothal blue feather into a gorgeous fountain pen, and he uses it all the time.
