Description An easy tutorial on how to make a simple beaded (wire) ring.
++++Tools++++
Wooden Dowel (Ring Dowel)
Round Nose Pliers
Flesh Cutters
Flat Nose Pliers
Beads
20 Gauge Wire
28 Gauge Wire
++++Steps++++
1. Wrap the 20 Gauge wire 3 times around the dowel. This makes the ring shape.
2. Make two P-Loops at the ends of the wire, and turn them outward.
3. Wrap the 28 Gauge wire around one side of the ring and make your way up to the loop, try not to leave spaces and wrap tightly.
4. String through the P-Loop.
5. String your choice of beads through the wire.

Do you think that 24 guage wire will work in place of the 28 guage? I never Β keep anything smaller than 24 guage... I don't know why...

I have 20 guage wire, so that's not a problem... But I don't want to waste my wire trying to use something that won't work... You know what I'm saying? I don't think I'm being very clear... sorry...

so do you wrap the 28 gauge all the way around the ring or just on the sides?

also do you have to use a dowl or can you use your own finger (to make it fit better?)

I use a dowl and yes around the sides.

Are there any online stores you can recommend for buying supplies?

I'm looking to get into the hobby, and need to get a good price on all the tools and materials I'll need.
