reffed a few things from a screenshot(also needed the proper colors so yeah) the only thing i reffed was a tiny bit of the BG (not spot on) and just the way the whole thing was done. throughout the whole film every character's faces are drawn a bit differently, so i tried to capture Simba's facial structure fro this one with still adding my own flair to it.

Umm, what do you mean by not copying? It's... Obviously from Lion King. It's a screen shot. And Lion King is from Disney, so it's copyright by Disney.

This image is quite old, but I actually referenced a screen shot to draw this. So the drawing is my own, the concept/TLK does belong to Disney. What I meant by not copying, is people taking thisΒ particular drawing and tracing, copying, re-posting, using for RPing. and so on.

Allrighty, then I will break it down.
I stared at the original image from the film, then I took a blank white image, and drew this while looking at the original image. Trying to re-create the "magic" or "official look" of the original.
So this drawing is mine.
But it is based on the concept/film The Lion King.

The one thing that bothers me, and not to be rude, is Simba's eyebrows. Other than that, it could very well fit in the movie.

hehe well you deserve them ^.^ you're a very talented artist and I think people who comment should appreciate the time and effort you put in your artwork just a tad more then they do. I know not everyone has the time the comment much but it's always nice to see that some people do pay attention ^.^ if I could I would commission you xD but not exactly running high on points and for money wise I have troubles in that area too
