Just some practice sketches I did last night whilst watching a documentary on wolves.Seeing as a commission I have to do is featuring a wolf, I figured I should brush up and practice my wolves/canine anatomy.
All were drawn on regular printer paper with a point 5 led pencil. Scanned, then darkened in photoshop, so they may be easier to see.

May I please use this to see how to draw wolves from specific points of view (front especially)? I want to sketch wolves from different angles, but I have trouble drawing certain ones. This would help me draw a picture for my friend. You've drawn this very well, by the way! The many different angles look very well drawn and beautiful!

DUDE THATS SICK! I love wolves, I want to get one, but I hear theyre i maintenance, so i might get a husky. You should put those for references

You definitely shouldn't get a wolf w/o doing TINS AND TONS of research. Mainly on their behavior. Or you could accidentally end up with an extremely dangerous animal and no doubt someone will get hurt. I've got 3. I'm always getting challenged by a female who wants to be alpha. I've had them all since they were 6-7 weeks old. Hand fed, hand raised. And I still have to assert complete dominance. As soon as I get home from school they rub their snouts under my chin and lick my neck and wag their tails but there's always the one female who rubs her chin on my forehead. Even little harmless things like that can turn into a huge issue!! I have to immediately push her of and growl at her for her to understand its not okay. EVERY SINGLE DAY I do that. Just get a husky

I had seen that meme before, but I did not have it in mind whilst drawing xD Originally it was just a silly pose, and i just wrote that "I must dance!" next to it for laughs XD

Lovely sketches, dear! All I see is my dog though lol. Not that your wolves look like dogs, my dog just looks kinda like a pink little wolf lol. I like the one that's bunched up mid-step in a run near the bottom left hand corner.

I love the running, jumping, and landing ones that are sort of clustered together. I should have numbered them some if anyone said anything about any one of them, that we'd be more clear on which ones we were talking about LOL.
