⭐️Backstory: Unbeknownst even to Chobert hums he doesn’t remember much of his past after being revived. He remembers a farm and soldiers taking him from his family at a young age, being given his weapons and armor and was told to fight. That’s…about it. However the crest on his shield explains that he was a soldier of a small band of peasant soldiers who, through trial and error, served a small time lord named Caleb Desmond who at the age of 10 raised a rebellion against his homeland’s former lord and became the new leader of the county named after him. Chobert fought in the rebellion at the age of 12, still a common soldier but at least he now had experience. When Caleb was asked by a neighboring king to wipe out a subordinate of his, Caleb personally saw to this himself with a small army of men, Chobert included and wiped out the former aid to the king. When Caleb became 18 he would later challenge the king into war, Chobert was a fully fledged Pikeman Sergeant at the age of 20. Caleb would challenge other neighboring lands for dominance, defeating two petty lords at once who tried to assassinate Caleb. Things quieted down until word of monsters began kicking up in the lands of another county, Chobert, and several small battalions went to investigate and led to them all being killed by these ravenous beasts. Chobert fought bravely and managed to escape with who could follow, at 22 he would go back to the monster lands with his lord Caleb who allied with a former enemy now friend as the two armies crushed and defeated the monsters that once plagued both sides during the two’s war on one another. During that same year after the defeat of the monsters, Sea Raiders emerged and attacked the ally of Caleb’s so he and the allying lord drove the raiders back, Chobert performing so well he ranked up twice to Pikeman Captain. At the age of 32, now as a Pikeman Colonel, he goes with Caleb on a expedition into the island of the Sea Raiders, fighting in cold conditions in snow and heavy blizzards and during a final push on the raider capital he is killed in battle. Many years later he is revived as a minion for a dark wizard who wished to take back the island of the Sea Raiders since the wizard was a descendant of the once great raiders but when the time came for the wizard’s revenge he is killed by Ardent and Beitild who were hired by Caleb’s son to deal with the wizard. Unlike most minions who were supposed to die after their master died, Chobert didn’t…thanking the pair for saving him and offered his services to join them, they rejected him on account of him being a zombie and that would get them into trouble so he decided to hide most of his undead features with rags and bandages. They let him join after that and despite his frail body, he is rightfully immune to poison and disease as well as can see and communicate with spirits.
