(This character was inspired from my recent playthrough of Way of the Samurai 3 as the appearance will be slightly altered for a narrative and legal purpose, I don't own the rights of the original characters by Acquire I just use the setting and characters to tell a story. I used Samurai Warriors 4: Empires to give a visual representation of what the character looks like. Enjoy!)

⭐Backstory: Kasumi was born into a small family of farmers during the Waring State of Japan in a town named Amana, she was the eldest sister of three younger siblings, her half brothers Koji and Kenji and younger half sister Minamo. She lived with her step mother Yuzu who came from a now defunct clan known as Sakurai Clan, she was the younger sister of the former head of that clan. Her father Maki who was a samurai for Sakurai Clan and was known to be the best of the best as he won Yuzu's hand in marriage, and his mother Otome a retired kunoichi with tales to entertain her grandchildren. Her step mother was part of the once prominent clan of Sakurai who occupied Amana and ruled fairly for years until the head of the clan who was Yuzu's brother was usurped and killed by his own retainer so Yuzu hid her true identity as well as her brother's children within the village she stayed in with Maki's help. As Kasumi grew up she would be enthralled with tales of her grandmother's endeavors as a ninja and aspired to be like her as she was willing to train with her grandmother who was no pushover when it came to the art of ninjutsu, as Kasumi grew up her body began to develop more curvy and plump due to training and strict dieting while became more accustomed to combat and stealth while showing a very shy yet intelligent personality. Due to her rapid development into a woman during her training she had caught many eyes of men and soldiers, eventually using those looks to her advantage as a geisha around town despite her disliking the thought of putting herself out in such a shameful manner. She would rapidly master several instruments and the art of dance in the market district of the town, winning favor of men and women alike with the money she used she woul send it to her family as her grandmother would often give Kasumi instructions to kill ronin that would pass through the town. During this however her brother Kenji would leave home to pursue his dreams of becoming a samurai while Maki and Koji joined the clan that usurped Sakurai Clan now ran by Shuzen Fujimori as he uses his now rapidly growing army to tax and enforce labor onto the people for a time until a rebel group named Ouka Clan began operating in the area to free Amana. Kasumi's father and brother are killed while out on a campaign with Shuzen, however her brother Kenji arrives home merely hours later after getting into a fight he couldn't win and so she and Kenji with instructions from Otome would be told to help the people free Amana from Fujimori Clan. Ken would aid Ouka Clan while Kasumi would stay in the village during the day and find allies to help raise a rebellion at night. As time went on Kenji and Kasumi would find valuable partners and allies as war with Fujimori Clan drew closer, she would however on one fateful night run into a strong ninja only known as The Black Hawk who had been watching the situations unfold in the small town and attacks her, nearly having the advantage of the young kunoichi until Otome steps in and helps her granddaughter as their combined efforts force The Black Hawk to retreat at the cost of Otome dying of a mortal wound, Otome gifts Kasumi her murasame blade before she dies and even takes The Black Hawk's blade he left behind during his retreat. Shuzen finds out the heir of Sakurai Clan still lives, Kasumi's cousin Osei and captures her so Kasumi rallied the townsfolk against Shuzen before she is executed with help from one of Shuzen's former retainers they managed to fight off the executioner and his men while Kenji staged a full assault on the castle of Fujimori Clan with Ouka Clan. She and her allies catch up and take part in the battle and face Shuzen who awaits his attackers on the top floor of his castle and is defeated. Shuzen and his men are taken prisoner as Osei takes her place as the new head of Sakurai Clan with Kasumi and Kenji as her bodyguards along with afew others for some time until reports of Nobunaga Oda making his way to their territory with battle on his mind and are nearly coaxed into meeting him in battle, but Yuko Hyuga who was passing by and heard about the situation visits and suggests that if she wants her clan to live on they should come with her back to Kyūshū and help her take over to which they reluctantly yet thankfully agree. Leaving Amana and it's bloody past behind them to serve a new lord... Kasumi served as both a kunoichi and diplomat to Hyuga Clan with abit more confidence in her combat abilities while still serving as a bodyguard to her cousin whenever they left for battle.
