⭐️Backstory: Rexodus was born in the heart of Cyrodiil in the year of 4E 174, he came from a family that gave massive contributions during The Great War, his father fought alongside the Emperor at the time as part of volunteer forces funded through mercenary work. When the war ended Rexodus was a young child born, his father’s exploits won his family nobility status with some perks of a good education and training in the best academy money could buy as well as joining the Legion as a Lieutenant, when Rexodus’s mother came to ensure they’d be taken in…his father couldn’t take them both so he took his son and remarried some time later. This saddened Rexodus but in the process he met two friends who became his lifelong companions growing up, Lucien Flavius and Livia Salvian. Lucien’s mother fought alongside Rexodus’s father during the war and Livia’s father met several times during before the war, Rexodus’s father, after the war, aids Livia’s father in quelling a rebellion which earns them both titles, Livia’s father became a champion of Cyrodiil and Rexodus’s father became a general of the Imperial Legion. Whenever the three families got together the trio always found trouble no matter what, however since the Salvians resided in Cheydinhal they could only visit when Livia’s father was working as Chancellor of Cyrodiil which was nice since the Flavius and Janik families lived in the capital. As Rex grew up his father had several more kids who believed since he was born before being deemed noble that he was beneath them. He would ignore these jabs as he grew up yet his stepmother cared for him like any other while he continued his studies with Lucien but wanted to live up to his father’s expectations and would later learn how to fight from his father as well as Lucien’s mother so he could join the Imperial Legion, Lucien however pursued a more, less physical goal he soon wouldn’t be alone as he found out that Livia had too joined the Legion, so the two became inseparable during their time as soldiers. Rexodus’s drive to being an ideal soldier was firm in his mind, the thoughts of his family’s name being on the line had rest on his shoulders, the ties and connections his father had made and the expectations of others weighed on him constantly…any slip up could cost him or his father, eventually his hard work paid off when he and Livia were stationed in Bruma, Lucien paid the pair a visit, eventually the trio solved a whole slew of problems, earning favor with the Count of Bruma who with the good word of captain of the city guard, the county’s court and many of the citizens was heard loud and clear by an organization, The Penitus Oculatus. He was approached and given an invitation to join them, but couldn’t tell anyone of his joining as he needed to do two tasks before joining, to assassinate someone on orders of the Emperor, to not think but obey at all costs and to convince the recruiter that he was ready. He was nervous at first but he knew this was his big chance to make a name for himself and did the deed with slight hesitation but after showing how truly dedicated and albeit desperate to live up to his father’s name he was accepted and trained for four long years in combat heavy subjects, tactical planning, inspector training, assassination and torture methods. After his training he spent after good years serving the emperor and his family while writing letters to his friends and family little to no details about being a Pentius but on how he was doing and so on, he even convinced his father to let his birth mother live with them since he was almost never home. He stopped getting letters however from Lucien who had left for Skyrim as well as Livia…however fortunately the Emperor would soon leave for Skyrim as well to visit his cousin for her wedding and personally asked for Rexodus to come along with his commander Maro alongside several others including his own son who Rexodus befriended. In the year 4E 201 Rexodus sits on watch at Dragon Bridge and received two letters from his friends that wish to see him, it took some persuading but Maro gave Rexodus some leave time, excited to see his old friends again he set out to meet them…
