Not abandoned - Only on hold until Alien:Covernant aka Prometheus 2 is finished. At least that's what I read... Don't know if it's really true. Anyway it would be great to see Ripley and Hicks together.

Ripley would not blow themselves up. it's just not her style.
one-eyed guy obviously knows what aliens armor is very strong ... so... why he took the shotgun?

This has been a dream of mine ever since I was little, to see Alien3 retconned and the return of the REAL Ellen Ripley, and Dwayne Hicks, maybe even Newt all grown up. But I guess that day will never come. So sad.

I've read them. Good stuff. I hate how they changed the names, which is why I tracked down the real comics. But it might happen now that Blomkamp is doing the new Alien movie.
