I love this.

beauty one wouldn't have seen otherwise.

I don't know how my keyboard was positioned, to end up with a such sequence and avoid the famous QWERTY!

I have never been very fond of graffiti; to me it always makes a depressed urban environment that much more depressing; however, these bright colors against the white wall and behind the snow covered branches is very appealing in some strange way; almost like the shrubs are blooming vibrant flowers - thanks for giving me a new perspective on graffiti!

I would argue that some of these graffiti are pieces of art, but their context is always depressing for sure!

Snow is beautiful! Great shot!

You know, if I went out and wrote on a wall like that at that age, my parents would have beat my butt so bad I'd be standing up for a month!

Isn't it a blessing that winter takes care of these ubiquitious and hardly ever inspired graffities that can be found on every wall, at every corner, in every village, all the towns, in any city, and toutes les countries our blessed planet has to harbour?

It seems it's snowy and cold in your city. But it's also clear you make the very best out of it. A lovely shot. And I really like it, that for once, this spraycan grassroot art has to take second place.

djailledie In reply to EyeDance [2010-12-13 05:42:59 +0000 UTC]

Thanks, Bruno. Looks like you are not a big fan of street art. I am always balancing between finding a pain, and admiring the quality of some of them.
Snowy days give me the opportunity to walk more, when the bicycle has to stay home.

EyeDance In reply to djailledie [2010-12-14 21:17:39 +0000 UTC]

I wouldn't mind street art as such, but it's baffling how most of it looks the very same. Like if everyone on dA would upload sunsets only. So, hey you youngsters and delayed artists out there, use your spraycans bravely and come up with something new. Something that goes beyond a few letters and personal symbols. Something that mirrors how you feel. Or do you all feel the same? Now, stop throwing them empty cans at me, I just meant to express an opinion ...

You are right in that, there is a lot of uniformity. Some stand out though. Like Banksy, in Bristol or London, and more locally Knar. [link]
And you are right again with the cans
