Nikolai has a new haaairstyle! =^-^= although i fear that she looks suspiciously more lesbian now than before... ah well
Now before anybody goes on a rant saying 'Nikolai is a boys name!!!' well Ashley is a girls name and boys are called that.... plus Nikolai's father was a pig-headed brute and refused to call her anything else because he wanted his first born to be a boy. so i suppose that explains away much of her personality.
The clothes she is wearing on this picture is more her relaxing clothes than anything else... if Nikolai actually relaxes, i'm not so sure lol. I'm still working on a new design for her everyday clothing so we'll see what that brings forth.

I actually like boys' names for girls. There was a girl in highschool who was named Kevin... She was a blonde cheerleader! I dont think anyone in their right mind would think to pick on Nikolai for her name.. not unless they wanna die

Yeeeeah Kevin is going kinda far, but then again every time I hear the name Elliot, I think of a girl now, sooo... I guess it depends on the person who has the name.
hehe I dunno what your excuse is, but with I know with Maria I use the "Her mother's from Hell, she got her clothes from there" excuse for not always strictly adhering to the human fashion timeline. Makes things a lot easier when drawing an outfit

elliot is a nice name for a girl though - because it is quite genderless - but kevin kind of sounds like a guy name.

haha You don't need an excuse. The only reason I use one is because I'm the type of person who will search for plot holes in her ideas so I can fix them (or at least justify my reasoning) before someone else finds them first. That way when someone says "That can't happen. That doesn't make sense", I can bust out a snappy response and shoot 'em down!
