If you've ever heard of the game Star Cruiser (the one by Arsys Software), chances are you may have heard that the Genesis version was to be released in North America at some point in July 1994 by Namco's American subsidiary, Namco Hometek, under the name of Star Quest. This localization was only previewed in Electronic Gaming Monthly but never got released, and has not been found and dumped on the internet. (And if Hidden Palace is to be believed, not too many prototypes lent to EGM seem to have survived, making Star Quest's future even more uncertain.) However, there has been an English translation hack of Star Cruiser.And begone, 2022, badly-behaved beast of a year!
