Still having trouble figuring out just where to put these drawings based on Hindu deities at. Since they're pre-existing figures, I guess fanart works but a religious/mythology catagory would be really nice. I took a few bits for my interpretation of this one from the "Hanuman and The Six Ultrabrothers" movie but not too much.Related content

there's a man here locally that owns a thai restaurant that uses hanuman as his logo. I dont think he's seen him portrayed this way, though. great job!

I like your Hanuman much better than the one from the 6 Ultra Brothers movie. Oh, the design was OK, but the movie - not so much.

Agreed, celamowari. THE 6 ULTRA BROTHERS VS. THE MONSTER ARMY is the worst Ultraman movie ever made, IMHO, making even GODZILLA VS. MEGALON (my personal fave Godzilla film, BTW) look like Oscar-winning material.
BTW, Hanuman and the Monkey King are essentially the same character, different countries/cultures.

I know the two monkeys have nothing to do with one another but I can't help but think of the giant Mojo Jojo from 'The Powerpuff Girls Movie' whom adorned the top of Townsville Hall as a helmet. Very great work :thumbup:

No, I haven't, at least not yet. Most of my research and readings has been confined to my encylopedia set and online sources so far. I would like to hunt down some actual books (preferably with illustrations as I rather like the imagry) but I've not the funds presently. Thank you for the comment!

Ohh...see if you can get your hands on some of the Indian comic books of their mythology designed for kids. They RULE. I grew up with them, and read them literally into tatters.
