Nice composition, if you only use 1 light source/controled, it'll bring the dark contour line more visible--and it's more dramatic.

Ironically, it was one light source and that's exactly what I was going for.

Ouch--so much for me being a smart ass
anyway--the only thing that comes back to my mind is a black reflector--to cover the base(where the bear sits) with black cloth/something dark to reduce the reflective light...
but anway--photoshop is still an available options
