Uh yeah... I had this romance bug kind of bite me the other day and VIOLA!! The result...it's sort of marure but but to me it's just a study of proprotion and couples. Yeah for Sess and Celeste....I was debating on whether or not I should put it as vincent instead but, I never really introduced Vincent to you all yet so I used Sess instead and it's a very dynamic pose so I wanted all the hair!Also, I made the shading and stuff eratic for a reason (sp?) It felt more intense that way so forgive the shading.
Yeah for...them!! Also, this is sort of a thing with lighting so if oyu have ANY suggestions, please put them down 11

She got is arm for him out of hell kind of as a trophy, but this is an OLD pic with a story line I no longer follow but the pic was so damn successful I just left it up. Heh.. ^_^;

I really luv this pic. I like how her hair contrasts against the dark environment. Everyone is shaped beautifully, espcially Sesshy's azz.

Please, please, please don't hate me for this cause I'm gonna get nitty and gritty on the crit (be it constructive of course). Ok, first thing that struck me is that all the image is done in one color scheme with the exception of her hair and it kinda sorta doesn't make sense (to me anyway). There's a couple of slips on the reflective light and shadow as they seem to come from all directions at the same time. Proportions are good, no worries on that, she doesn't feel like there's much weight to her though. But as a good teacher we both know would say "Artistic License". The hair on both looks good yet there's a bit of disjointing movement amongst it, so just be careful.
All in all it's just details that you gotta check for but as a whole the image is good. So you can send me to hell cause I don't mind.

no, I dont send people to hell!! AGH!! I like the fact that someone takes the time to critique my work so it's much appreciated. This was actually my firt attempt at reflected light on the comp so I could fix it.
As for her hair, her hair is Blonde and his is white so it only makes sense that it would shine a different color? I maybe wrong. As for her seeming weightless, at first this was supposed to look like they were ontop of a very shallow puddle of water but it wasnt working as well as I hoped. I'm no good with BG's right now although I am desperatly trying to fix that. Everytime I do a BG it always seems to clash although I think my overall use of color(after that God-aweful lecture) is much better then what it was before.

I'll agree, that lecture was one of the best pieces of info to get. I still pull out my notes of that when I'm tackling a new project. (In those off times I get some free moments lol)

heck yeah it was..although I went through a far more extensive lecture when I was in high school so it's not like I learned anything really new. The only thing that Mr.D did differently was the color meanings...I wasn;t there to get purple though so I need to get color off of someone..

heck yeah. The only reason I am stopping though is because I don't think it will happen unless by some miracle Ms. Rumiko says "Hey I love your idea and story OH and BTW" know what I mean? I have this story set up for a plausable introduction to Inuyasha's world and it works, so it's a terrible tease!!
