Here is a character I drew at AX while chilling with some cool artists. He summoning a black hole I guess lol, don't think he has thought this through. I finish coloring it a little bit ago but haven't had a chance to put in up.lines [link]

I would say the stance is simple, but the way the shadow and the face are made, i think rather than ready to spring out, he is drawing IN power. The dark whole an awesome thing to summon.
He looks like a really strong, and young mature person. But with the hood, staff and beeds, it is evident that he is more than that.
I must say, the culmination is well attained, because of all of this.

however, the back ground takes alot of his presence away. And the hand summoning is dissapearing as well.
Could you possibly change it?? Makes the focus on him, and his expression.

Interesting colors. I'd suggest a darker, more blueish background with a slight gradient to it.
