She pushed her forehead against his, closing her eyes as he felt his wounds start to heal over themselves, although he was still painfully weak from bloodloss. "I don't know what you did, but all of her enchantments are gone. Every single one she put on another dragon just...vanished. I'm an animus, Blackout!" She jumped back, her smile wide, although it fell when she saw his face. "I know, I promise I won't be like her, okay? If I do, you certainly have permission to kill me." Her eyes were sympathetic, even if she didn't necessarily know the right things to say at a given time.

here's Blackout's sister, Aureole, who i have since decided is Not evil and that this story takes place After TLC/that arc
but yea turns out both of the kids are mind readers/seers and also animi but the mum was just jealous that her kids were stronger than her and basically just. muted their powers until they fucking killed her like a lEGEND
she's p fuckin dense but tries to do the right thing even if she doesn't know how to say it and yeah i love her
