Description
Batman faces a brutal, almost supernatural, killer who disguises itself as a Japanese demon that is targeting some of Gotham's most powerful. Who is the Yokai? What does it want? And who is controlling it?Decided to finish the whole story and post it for you guys. Here's my Halloween treat for you all. And as a bonus, I'm making this available to download.
Inspired by Japanese myths, not to mention some of my more weird nightmares and thoughts when trying to sleep, I hope this tale scares you and thrills you.
WARNING: This tale, as it is a Batman one, contains a lot of violence. It also contains a fair amount of gore. Reader discretion is advised.

I really like this story line. I like how you showed Joseph's terror to. That would completely freak most people out being attacked by someone like that, just like Joseph was. Not everyone has had the training like Batman.

now this is good, I mean really it's like a sci-fi horror crime noir! Bloody hell man this is epic, you've managed to do a very well seasoned piece that works even out of the halloween season. Well done, I find the villain in question to be tragic and her end whilst inevitable breaks my heart. This has all the makings of a proper batman comic story and I hope it does become just that some day, well done indeed. It was also good to see the fear factor upped for the heroes too, very macabre indeed and poor Joey facing his first really monster...never a good time. So on the whole beautiful work indeed my friend, scary, tragic and epic...well done.

I felt making her more of a tragic one, then just a plain monster, would make her much more complex a villain.

Yes. Did a image search for Noh masks (as it fits the story's killer), and I found this screenshot. And it just fit. Copied it, cropped and put everything together in Paint.
It's a pain that PDFs need a preview image, but I try to think of something.
