Hey guys, just another one of my old drawings. About 5-6 years ago my friend got me into reading these graphic novels called Marmalade Boy and I saw a picture in there that I wanted to sketch and practice watercolors on. This character is Meiko, she is my favorite character out of the book, not just because of the story of her character, but that everytime I see a pic of her she reminds me so much of Hermione Granger in Chamber of Secrets. This is one of my first attempts in watercolors. This was made a long time ago, so who knows, maybe I should try watercolors again and see how my skills turn out! Enjoy!Related content

And I agree. I recommend this anime to anyone. And I love the drawings as well. And the music from the anime, too! Yoshizumi-san is an amazing artist. I love all the mangas she's made. I would actually love to read it, though, but the books of Marmalade Boy just don't exist down here where I live. So I've watched it on On Demand and on some anime websites. It's just too addicting to just quit when you can't find an episode. But I gotta say, Miki is MY favorite character. Maybe because she reminds me so much of myself. If only I met a guy like Yuu, though. I would do anything for a guy like that. My favorite Marmalde Boy couple is actually Suzu and Kei-kun, though. But you HAVE to watch it. The music is pure poetry. Mariko Kouda (Miki's voice) is a great singer. And same with Yuu's voice. I recommemnd you listen to the song "Moment" (Miki's song), "For You" (Kei's song to Miki), and "Rain" (Yuu sings it at the school fair in episode 32. But all the songs on the anime is awesome, so you should listen to them. :3 That's all.

It's so funny you say that she reminds you of Hermione, cause the taboo love she has with Namura reminds me of the taboo love that Hermione has with Snape. Sorry I'm a Snape/Hermione fan. ><"

Isn't it about a girl who falls in love with her step brother or something like that? I'm a little vague on the details.

It starts out as a bizarre story, but there this girl named Miki and her parents decide to get a divorce because they met another couple and decided to switch partners, meaning her mom wanted to hook up with the man of the other couple and her dad wanted to hook up with the woman of the other couple, really bizarre, but anyways the 2 couples wanted to live together and Miki finds out that the couple who her parents switched partners with have a son who is her age and while living together she starts to fall in love with the guy, so yes in a way she falls for her stepbrother. It's a really weird story but it is so much fun to read. Hope I didn't confuse you!
