Yeah, I couldn't think of a better title, just go with it. Basically the idea of the pic is Hades trying to repeat history with Herc and Meg's daughter.Now when I was working on this comic, I was watching this awesome new show on history channel called "Clash of the Gods" it is a very accurate show on the myths of famous Greek Gods, what makes it so awesome is that they have actors portraying the myths and I must say that with special effects they are very accurate and amazing. The ones I've seen so far were on Hades, Zeus, and Hercules. In the Hercules episode, it shows Herc with his wife Meg, but according to the show the myths say that they had 2 children, both boys. Then I heard from someone else, that what they've read was that Herc and Meg had 3 children, again all boys. So yeah, if they had all boys then my is pic wrong, but oh well, it's fanart, we the artists can make up whatever we want right?
Hope you guys like the comic, and if you guys are into Greek Mythology, I request watching Clash of the Gods on History Channel, it really helps explain the myths.

You had me at the part when Hades said "I'll make you mortal again". The daughter's face is so cute at the last panel. I wasn't thinking that Hades would try repeating history with a mini Meg but on the other hand, I'm not surprised for obvious reasons. And I love Clash of the Gods! I recently saw the Hades one.

I've actually heard versions of Hercules and Megara that resemble your interpretations: three children, two boys and a girl

I heard from a couple of websites that meg and hercules DID have a daughter named Macaria, who was the eldest of the children, so whether it's wrong or right you can base it on that.

Exactly we artists don't have to be accurate about the real thing it's called 'Fanart'. In my version Herc and Meg have two sons and a daughter both mixing in Herc and Meg's personality. One of the sons has a mix of Herc and Meg 0.o, the daughter has Herc's strength and Meg's wits and the other son is just the Herc resemblance. Also Herc doesn't kill Meg like in the myth.

I'm really intrested in Greek mythology but I'm afraid that in my country (Poland, Europe) we don't have this channel. Well, I really fancy your picture and Megara looks so damn hot! 
Hercules from 1997 is the awsomest movie.

Thanks so much, and yeah... I HATE doing hands, that and feet are the most difficult parts of the body for me to draw.
And yes, even though it wasn't true to the Greek Myths (but when has Disney ever been true to the original story?) Hercules was AWESOME!

In the greek myths, Hercules is Zeus' son but with a mortal woman (in the Disney film Herc's foster mom is his real mom in the myth) Hera, Zeus' wife (in the Disney film is Herc's mom) hated Zeus for his adultery with other women, so she takes out her anger of him by punishing his illegitimate son Hercules, for example in the film, Pain and Panic transformed into serpents to kill baby Hercules, in the original myth it was Hera who sent serpents to kill Hercules, but like the film Hercules defeated the serpents thinking they were toys. Anyways, to cut to the death of Herc's children, when Hercules found happiness with Meg, Hera sent down some sort of curse that made Hercules go insane, thinking that his wife and children were bandits or thieves, and so he murders them, unaware of what he was doing. In some myths he killed Meg along with their children, in other myths he did not kill her. Very depressing story.

Believe me, I share your pain, but hey that's Greek Mythology for ya, almost every story in the Greek myths ends in tragedy, it amazes me on how Disney "cleans up" the story, I mean look at The Little Mermaid, in the original story the mermaid dies, and I think I heard from someone that instead of giving the sea witch her voice, the sea witch cuts out her tongue. Yeah, the Disney films are WAY MORE kid friendly.

also, in the little mermaid, there were no seashells (orriginally). Ariel (or "Marina" in the original) had her hair covering her bussums (sometimes).
also, in the original beauty and the beast, the beast is dead for half a day before belle (or in the original she was just called "Beauty") found him and admitted she loved him. and her father wasnt a scientist, he was a trader.
so, Disney changes a LOT actually.
oh, and in the original Peter Pan, Tink dies (until the claping of children brings her back), Peter almost dies saving Tiger Lily AND Wendy, and Wendy is shot with an arrow (but is saved by Peter's "kiss")... But u probly know all of this! (i am such a dork!)

Oh no worries, I like talking about these things (don't get me started with Harry Potter!) but yeah, I loved the Disney films as a kid and I still love them now, I just think it's interesting to find the original stories and compare to how Disney changed it, I mean if it wasn't for Disney's Hercules, I wouldn't be into Greek Mythology in which I find them very interesting- they are tragic, but interesting.

I love your comics, especially the one with their kids. They're so witty and well-drawn.
The show Clash of the Gods, although more accurate than most myth shows, it isn't completely correct. Herc and Meg had anywhere between 3 and 8 kids, but the three kids (boys) who actually have names are Deicoon, Creontiades, and Therimachus. I've grown up with the myths, therefore I know a little too much.

Wait, I'm confused, are you talking about Herc and Meg's kids? Because when you said 'in the movie there were three as well' Were you referring to the Disney film or something else, because there were no children mentioned in the film and that in the Hercules TV series it was about Herc as a teenager so there was no way we could determine if Disney gave their versions of Herc and Meg's kids.
Don't worry about missing the show, I think they show it twice a week, I remember watching the one on Hades three times over the past week. Documentary on Star Wars? Sweet! I gotta watch out for that!
