Well, since Goblet of Fire is now over, it's time to get ready for OotP! (even though it won't be here until summer of 2007) So I am catching up by reading the book again. While I was reading the book there were many scenes that I wanted to draw, and here is one of them, the famous Snape's Worst Memory. It's funny, in the first 4 books Snape was the character that I hated so much, the fact that he tormented Harry in class and made him feel like an idiot, but after reading this chapter, we see a new side to Snape and that you feel so sorry for him, that Harry's father and his friends bullied him in school and that he was an outcast and had no friends. That made me want to cry! (But then after reading HBP my nerves grew on him again, heh heh). Well, onto the pic, this was the part when Lily comes in and tries to stop James from bullying Snape. It was right after when James used a spell to make Snape gurgle pink foam from his mouth (hence that is what's going on with Snape's mouth in the pic) I always felt that even though James and Sirius were the only ones that bullied Snape, it made me assume that no one else liked him, and then in this scene you see Lily defending him. Hence that is why I put the title "The only one who was nice to him" until the part where Snape called her a mudblood and was tormented once again (This guy has real problems!) But anyways, this probably did not happen but I drew Lily trying to help Snape. Now I know the background totally sucks but you guys know that I hate doing them! Enjoy!
