Yeah, he's my favorite too. I certainly like him a lot more as a main character than Giorno.

I always thought he'd make a better Joestar But guess he's more of a Zeppeli in part 5
I dunno, Giorno just came off as a bland watered down version Jotaro with no emotions. Sucks that all my fav characters either left the group of died(Polnareff is technically dead right?)

I reread Vento Aureo a bit ago, and I actually liked Giorno early on. He was a bit of a snarky bastard for the first two or so volumes, but he quickly turned into a bland Jotaro clone, like you said.
He's very similar to Jotaro, but I think the difference between them is that Jotaro at least has the entertaining bancho stereotype going on, which makes him fun to read. Giorno is just kinda dull.
Polnareff's situation is kinda wierd because his body is dead, but his spirit lives within cocojumbo, as if he were alive.

ya got that right, Jotaro at least had the Bad-Ass type going for him. Giorno took a backseat to the other gang members. He's the reason I didn't enjoy part 5 as much as I thought I would. I'm still don't under stand why most Japanese fans love him so much as oppose to Josuke or Jolyne (who were ACTUAL fun protags).
As soon as I got to Silver Chariot Requiem chapters and Diavolo showed up, $hit got WEIRD!

Haha... sounds like we have the same taste in Joestars. Josuke and Jolyne are definitely underrated (Stone Ocean in general doesn't get as much praise as it does get negativity).
I think Giorno has more of the fujoshi appeal to him that they gravitate over to him.
