I bought a tube of prussian blue watercolor and I just wanted to play with it (instead of working on homework). I made a couple of pages of fun, but this was my favorite. It was pretty much filled with my Reya story stuff, so I decided to fill the rest of the page with more characters from that story.I need a proper watercolor sketchbook to keep with kind of stuff in (the one I have has pretty wimpy paper and not suitable for watercolors at all

The world would explode from insanity and awesomeness if you did watercolors. You should really try them out! They're hard, but there is such a great feeling about the being very loose and free, while getting a painting done fairly quickly.

I've tried them out a few times but I think I really really lack that awesome technique you sport. I mean they've finally stopped looking like mud but the detail... I LACK THAT AWESOME DETAIL. -points-
I think I'll try two watercolors today just to see if I've gotten less failtastic at them. @_@

It's really a medium that you have to use several times before you get the hang of it. I'm easily impressed by people who can use it we within a few tries.

True true. Nothing comes without effort! I just feel so lost when it comes to painting. It's so complex. But I guess I better get over it if I want to be my full potential~!

These all turned out very well! I love the one in the top right corner! pissed guy with what looks like a bomber jacket. It would be cool to see a comic page done in watercolor : D very good practice piece I must say.

Yes, I drew the main bad guys in there (although one of them is missing on this page... and I guess you can't say that one or two of them are "main" badguy...I dunno).
I'll try to get a one shot story done before the end of the year, so look forward to that.
And I agree... Reya does look good in blue (mostly because that's the color I usually associate her with) and I like her with her hair down.
I still have trouble drawing Reya in expressions like in the middle... mostly because of one detail that could be overlooked in that image.

I don't know though, the bad guys seem very interesting. Be forewarned, I may develop more character obsessioins. Don't worry though, Reya's still my #1.
Agreed. There's something that just clicks with her and that color. You know, I could imagine her, in an alternate life, being some sort of jazz singer (or pianist).

I have interesting things planned for my villains, but I don't know who I'll centralize in my one shot. I'm glad you like Reya. That makes me feel better about making her the main character.
(It's funny you mentioned "jazz singer." In one of my sticky note sketches, I drew my main characters with an added 30 years on them, and Roger kinda looks like he would be an old jazz player or something)
