Just the other night, I watched Puss In Boots: The Last Wish with my kid brother. Initially, I wanted to rent Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, but the RedBox at one of my local stores didn't have it yet. So I went with this instead, and it's been a film I had been curious about for a while.

Long story short, it was AWESOME! The animation was definitely visually stunning, with DreamWorks obviously taking cues from the Spider-Verse movies with that combo of traditional 3-D animation and 2-D comic book-style graphics! The story itself was pretty thrilling and emotional, with Puss trying desperately to preserve his ninth and final life while setting out on a journey to find a magical star which he hopes would restore his eight previous lives with one single wish.

And of course, there's one of the main villains of the movie; Death. That terrifying, sickle-wielding wolf constantly hunting poor Puss down in order to reap his soul! If you didn't get as much chills as Puss himself did every time the guy showed up onscreen, you must be the bravest person on the planet! 😨

So here is Lori looking Death straight in the eye, and freaking out as expected.
