Lucille was the first who unbuckled and jumped out of her seat. She and Kerstin were the only ones who had noticed that Steffi was standing in the corridor as the supposed air hole occurred. No one on board suspected why the plane had really sunk so suddenly.

Luicille: "Steffi! Steffi! My goodness! Say something, Steffi!"

Lucille was close to tears as she hurried to her colleague and knelt beside her. She didn't care about the attention as the other passengers watched now. Kerstin looked out of the row of seats with a startled face.

Kerstin: "Dear God, no! That should not have happened. That just happened because she wanted to save Hendrik. It's my fault! I was not paying attention."

Little Hendrik had tears in his eyes. He knew it was his fault. His mother had often told him something about responsibility. But the little boy could not explain why he had left his seat. He had suddenly seen a mask that sparkled so seductively. Renata came in the meantime with a first aid suitcase and together with Lucille she took care of Steffi.

Lucille: "Oh god that's blood. She is bleeding. I hope she is not dead."

Renata: "Slip aside, Lucille. I have to check her puls ............ wait, I feel something .... she's alive."

Lucille: "Give me the bandage, we have to stop the bleeding on her head."

Kerstin, Hendrik, Julia and Amaya watched the two stewardesses anxiously as they provided medical care for their colleague. However, nobody dared to open his seat belt if the turbulence should come back or the plane sagged again. Jack wanted to reach for his beer can because he needed a drink. But the can had slipped out of the cup holder a few seconds ago and flown through the entire compartment. Now the can rolled around somewhere near Jasmines and Selenas feet who were still strapped unconscious in their seats. Then suddenly Jack thought of Linda and he was actually the first passenger to unbuckle. As he rushed to the lavatory where Linda had gone, Lucille and Renata continued to care about Steffi.
