Went to Philadelphia over the Memorial Day weekend and had a chance to visit the Philly Museum of Art and well, if you follow or know me, you know I always go to the armory section and try to get a armor drawing done when I visit the Met here in NYC. So this is what I ended up doodling with the short time I spent in the Philly museum.

The details and make of the armor can be found here on the Philly M.O.A site, www.philamuseum.org/collection… , and for the lazy, read the description on the actual sketch What's cool was that the armor originally had a vibrant blue and purple sheen, that is now all mostly gone except on the gauntlets, it's just a gray black now. However, that doesn't take away from how magnificent this set of armor is.
