Twenty symbolic representations of the more common deities in Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition, re-created in vector format.

The deities:

Asmodeus, Supreme Master of the Nine Hells (Evil): God of tyranny and domination.

Avandra, The Maiden (Good): Goddess of change, luck, trade and travel.

Bahamut, The Platinum Dragon (Lawful Good): God of justice, protection, nobility, and honor.

Bane, The Black Lord (Lawful Evil): God of hatred, fear, tyranny, war and conquest.

Corellon Larethian, The Protector/First of the Seldarine (Chaotic Good): Leader of the elven pantheon. God of magic, music, arts, crafts, poetry, and warfare. Patron of arcane magic and the fey.

Erathis (Unaligned): God of civilization, muse of great invention, founder of cities, and author of laws.

Gruumsh, The One-Eyed God (Chaotic Evil): God of destruction.

Ioun (Unaligned): Goddess of knowledge, prophecy and skill, patron of the study of magic and mental power.

Kord, The Brawler (Chaotic Good): Storm god and the lord of battle and strength.

Lolth, The Spider Queen (Evil): Queen of spiders and the drow.

Melora (Unaligned): Goddess of the wilderness, nature, and the sea.

Moradin, The Soul Forger (Lawful Good): God of creation and patron of artisans, especially miners and smiths. Patron of dwarves.

Pelor, The Sun Father/Shining One (Good): God of the sun, light, strength and healing. Keeper of time.

The Raven Queen (Unaligned): Goddess of death, spinner of fate and the patron of winter.

Sehanine Moonbow, Lady of Dreams (Unaligned): Elven goddess of the moon, autumn and love. Patron of trickery and illusions, favorite deity among elves and halflings. Wife of Corellon Larethian.

Tharizdun, The Chained God/Elder Elemental Eye (Chaotic Evil): God of destruction and madness, creator of The Abyss.

Tiamat, The Chromatic Dragon (Lawful Evil): mother of evil dragons, queen of corruption and greed.

Torog, The King That Crawls (Evil): God of the Underdark, patron of jailers and torturers.

Vecna (Evil): God of undead and necromancy, lord of secrets.

Zehir (EVil): God of darkness and poison, patron of assassins.

The original reference images were taken from the Wizards of the Coast merchandising website. As a personal exercise to practice my skills in this sort of thing, I tried to create one in vector format... Then another... Then another... And pretty soon I had fifteen.

Vector images were created, as usual, in Adobe Fireworks CS5. All of the above are available for download in Fireworks PNG and Adobe Illustrator 8 formats on my blog: [link]
