UPDATE: Johara placed third in her class!

Just like all of our Arabians with the exception of Witch, Johara was getting her start in the halter class. She had a long flowing tail that seemed to be made of spun silk and a shimmering golden-brown coat. She'd been doing pretty well so we loaded her up with Witch to go to the AHA's show to compete against some of the best young horses in her catagory, including Witch's half sister, Blood In Thy Coffee.

We were looking forward to seeing how our girl placed against one of Witching Hour's four offspring. Witch would be in the Liberty catagory, so Johara would have to face the stunning Blood alone.

And confront her she did with every ounce of grace and beauty she had in that lean body. She flipped her tail over her rump, letting its dark locks flow softly over her flank. We'd all have to wait until the judging was done to find out how she'd done.
