"Th...this is the weirdest gymnastics try out I've ever been to." Mercedes said, doing her best to maintain her balance while struggling against the rope that bound her arms and wrists as well as held her foot and ankle suspended.
"Hey babe, we just wanna make sure you live up to your reputation. They say you're the best in the state." The strange figure replied, all the time quite intensely studying Mercedes' frame, which made her all the more uneasy.
"Yeah, but... ack ...Is all this unnecessary?!?" She retorted nearly slipping off the ball her unsuspended foot stood upon.
"Of course," the figure returned, a creepy smile forming upon his face, "Now for the real test. Just gimme a second to get my feather..."
"QUE!?!?" It was then the red head knew that her ordeal had only begun.
