Yeah, I saw that a little bit ago.  Screw Attack's Death Battle, awesome as it is, it the only place I can find any reference to Battle Cat being half dragon.  Mattel's official bio of the character says he's a battle tiger of the Green Tiger tribe, and Wiki Grayskull lists his species as Green Tiger.  That pretty much settles it for me.
