Some background information:This statue represents Pegasus, the mythic winged horse. It is used as symbol of the armybase nearby.
This piece of art is made by Karel Hadermann. The highest spot is about 7m above the ground. The spanwidth of the wings is about 8m.
The statue is placed on a roundabout in my hometown Diest, Belgium.

There is indeed a lot of art on the streets here in Belgium. In the next fex weeks/months I'll try to photograph every historical and cultural monument and artwork in my town.. So feel free to come again ;D
