As someone who's no authority on comics, but grew up watching the cartoons and movies, what's this particular bromance between Booster Gold and Blue Beetle like?
(I know the characters pretty well, I just haven't seen this occur in the Justice League cartoon or any of the like)

I almost spit out my soda when I saw this! Yeah, Shining's a old softy when it comes to "liquid pride", and he's demonstrated it twice on the show, but ol' Big Mac is like Niagra Falls in comparison. I guess he held back his emotions during "Crusaders of the Lost Mark" until he could find another he-man stallion to let 'er rip. And yes, they're both proud of their little sisters.
Her Highness, on the other hand, seems a bit confused, if not annoyed.
: Uh, so, Apple Bloom... wanna go out for a fly?
: Fly? Twilight, ah don't have wings. Ya shore yer not going cuckoo like our brothers are?
: I'm not going cuckoo... (whispers) but the boys are embarrassing us.
: (whispers back) Yeah, all that sobbin' and stuff. Ya think that we were dead or something.
(normal voice) Y'all aren't serious about me flyin', are ya, Twilight?
: I'm an alicorn, remember? I'll use my magic to lift you up and have you fly next to me. Just a few hooves off the ground, not too high. You still want to go?
