Description
I was lucky enough to spend a few days at Acadia National Park in Maine last month.This was taken from the summit of Cadillac Mountain, overlooking Frenchman's Bay.
I don't usually shoot landscapes with a fisheye lens but I like to play around and I think the effect is good here.
It was taken at around 6AM on a very cold October morning.
Canon T90, Fuji Provia 100F
The slide was scanned and other than minor level adjustments, untouched. The colors are as I remember them from that morning.

Very cool fisheye perspective.... the warm colours from the sun make this stand out as well. Wish the sun flare wasn't so prominent, but hey, what can you do?

Great shot.. I love how the fish-eye implies the curvature of the earth.. something always missing in standard landscape shots. The colours are great too, and I like the lens flare. I feel cold just looking at this shot. Great work

Beatiful shot. I love the sky (the way the orange sky shows in a thin line just below the clouds), and all of the colors throughout the photo. I like the position of the sun to the right, but it may have also looked nice in the center even though objects usually aren't supposed to be in the center. I also like the fisheye effect.

Ahah! I spotted the fisheye lens in this one. Excellent shot. The warmth of the sun's rays are cast on the the rocks in the foreground. It adds coziness to the photograph, if that can be said of it.
