I like "Hermann", because it sounds a little like "German/Germania", but the other names are very nice, too.

As far as I know, Hermann comes from German.
And Ger = oldgerman for spear and man = man XD
So Germans were spear-men, because they often fought with them^^
And Siegfried means:
Sieg = victory and Fried(en) = Peace.

Ha, ha. Thanks.
Otton fits him very well, I like it.
I'm very sorry for what happened two days ago. I feel deeply sorry for the aircraft accident victims and their families.

Thank you very much! I'm lately trying another coloring style, but I'd like to improve this one, too.

very impressive picture, but shouldn't Germania be a woman?

Thank you.
Yes, I think that countries should be personified by women: mother homeland, you know...You have reason.
But this is a Hetalia fanart. In this manga where countries look like humans, most countries are men, so I just draw my version of an existing character.

I believe the gender has to do more with the fact that Germania was an "empire" of sorts. Empires gained and kept territory by being tough and strong. It contained Germany, western Switzerland, Austria, a chunk of upper France, some of Belgium, a bit of the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and even a bit of Poland according the maps I found via google...
Germania, like Gaul and Rome, was very large, which also lends to him being a man... That and the Germani weren't exactly known for being peaceful... I mean part of them were Celtics....
The only Ancient I could honestly see being portrayed as a woman from Europe would have to be Britannia... also known as Great Britain and Ireland...

Since is a fantasy, you can describe the countries both like men or women, since there are aspect of a country that can be considered "manly" (war, technology) or more "feminine" (music, arts). In my personal opinion, countries should be portrayed as women (the "motherland") or as a person able to be woman or man depending of the situation.
But well, imagination is free.

Ah, that makes sense. I have to admit, this is the first time I hear of Hetalia.
