Description
Hercules' eleventh labor was to collect the golden apples from the garden of his stepmother Hera, whose location was known to no mortal. However, Hercules wrestled with Nereus, the Old Man of the Sea, who told him where to find the garden. However, the apples could only be picked by the immortal, for a mortal who picked them would die.

But Herc did have help in the end, for the garden was near the location where Atlas the Titan was tasked with holding the sky over the earth. As Hercules held up the sky himself, Atlas picked some of the golden apples, and before he could get away, Hercules tricked him into reclaiming his task and accomplished his goal.
